How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Your obd 1, you should be able to check some codes, yourself, if your check engine lamp/mil still works? There may not be any codes? I'd check to see if engine over-fueling? Over-fueling on a hot engine can kill it and make for a hard restart. After it sits awhile, the extra gas evaporates. Check your coolant temp sensor. Don't replace anything unless your testing points in that direction. Just my opinion.
