Is my transmission bad?

My 1992 k1500 silverado has a transmission in it that is
only two years old. I was recently going down the highway
and my rear Universal Joint went out due to a broken
leafspring. I since fixed the U joint and replaced the spring.
But now my transmission goes from 1st, to 2nd skips 3rd
and goes to 4th gear. Could it be the TCM or do I need a
new transmission?

Hard to say, if you need a new transmission, but have a shop check it out before you spend time and money on a replacement.
