Hello, I found out the answer looking up the distrubtor coil specs, since you have to spec the plugs to the distributor coil(s). I have about 30 years experience working on vehicles and several patents on automotive technologies , but alas can't remember everything. The gap i looked up for the 1995 Chevy 1500 C/K with a 5.7 Liter motor is .035 in SAE which is .89 mm

Also some of these ignitions have to be used with the cheaper copper core plugs since copper is a better conductor and produce larger sparks. The issue with copper is that they do not last as long, you can only expect like 35,000 out of the copper plugs. But they only cost a few dollars each. i have tried to use the more expensive plugs , platinum , irridium, double platinum in the ignition system and the car ran poorly and my guess is it may not pass smog with the more expensive spark plugs. Any coil based system you have to uncover what is optimal as far as plugs.

Yeah, using the right spark plugs for the good old Chevy 350 is a great way to improve its performance. You can also do it in more or less in under an hour with the right knowledge, like in some online articles: https://www.mechanicalcaveman.com/best-spark-plugs-for-chevy-350-review/
