I have a 1996 Chevy Silverado and the other night
when I was gonna turn it on it made a loud bang
and smoke came out my hood so when I opened it
the top part of the intake manifold was all craked
what could’ve caused that to happen

Timing chain could have jumped causing ignition in the intake.
