Cranking but not starting

97 Chevy Silverado with a 57 vortec getting fuel to
the fuel rail cranks just fine but won't start even
tried using starting fluid but does not work any
suggestions

If you have spark and fuel but it still won't run it's time to do a compression test. If all cylinders test very low or zero it's jumped timing. Hope that helps! Jim
