How would I go about undoing a MyKey feature in my 2017 Ford Escape SE?

Asked by Mary Jul 14, 2021 at 10:22 AM about the 2017 Ford Escape SE FWD

Question type: Car Customization

Oh my goodness this will be my third time explaining this problem because of
some misunderstandings probably on my part but anyway I’m going to make it
short and sweet this time around. Question is I programmed my car with a
feature called My Key. I nearly was caught  in between an accident because I
couldn’t move out of the way on time. Now to me it’s a death trap this feature
that I am finding impossible to get out of unless I bring into a dealership which
in turn there telling me it will cost about $300. Because the car only came with
one key. I read the manual on how to delete it but I’m finding it impossible.
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME. I can’t afford this ridiculous problem. In my
manual they never said this undoing process would need professional help. I
need your professional option or answer. PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP
