1997 Chevy Silverado driver side door is stuck in the lock position

Driver side door is stuck in the
lock Position will not unlock
with key are from the inside of
the vehicle and the door will not
open how do I get to latch to let
loose

I had the same problem with my explorer I had to rip the door panel off to get to the latch and replace the door panel
