Turned on the lights Disconnected the battery. Now the tail lights don't work service
engine light is on seat belt keeps flashing Help??!!

Did it wrong, disconnect the battery negative cable, turn on headlights, wait at least 10 seconds, the longer the better, turn off headlights, reconnect battery, start engine and drive as you normally would. If you still have the check engine light, get the codes pulled and repost them back here for further help with diagnosis. Seat belt light flashing means that a seat switch is sensing a load in a seat and the belt for that seat is not connected. Tail lights could be a blown fuse or the switch is not energizing the tail light circuit.

Tried. It again the service engine light went out. Now the air bag light is flashing no tail/side marker lights. I thought it was the seat belt light initially. Help!!

Check for some blown or corroded fuses and connections, that sounds like you have a voltage drop, could be a battery cable.

Ok checked the battery reads 12.3. Is it still ok to put Vaseline on the post to prevent corrosion. Goner recheck all the fuses. Thanks!!

Do not put Vaseline on the post or terminal end, it is a dielectric and can cause more problems that it helps. If you feel that you need to put something on it goes around the base of the battery post not the post.

I have 07 G35 it's raining the lights won't go off, trunk opens by itself and cruise does not work. Any suggestions?
