Why is my car considered a fair deal when a worse car is listed as a good deal?

Asked by Laura Aug 09, 2021 at 06:26 PM about the 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.4L FWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

My name is Laura Scharoun. I have a listing of a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport
for $15,999 which is listed as a fair deal with 84K miles and $575 under. A new
listing by Shift just appeared for another 2016 Santa Fe Sport with almost 87K
at $16,198 listed as a GOOD DEAL and $1823 under. Why is mine listed as fair
and only $575 under? This is very unfair!!!

Odds are other car is sold by a dealer. Dealer prices are a factor along with your location and the car options. The rating is strictly a price comparison but dealers (as everyone knows) charge more because they are in business and have overhead that you and I do not have.
