Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 06 Mazda tribute won't crank but turns
an acts like it's choking out. Had a cylinder 4
coil code an map sensor code read out.
Changed both. Woke up the other morning
after hesitant starting an had to jump the car
next day wouldn't crank at all after dien out
three times in to miles. I'm running out of
money need help!

Your killing your battery by trying. Place your battery on a charger whilst you do the tests. First get a scanner erase the code and try to start the car. The first code is usually the best signal. If no codes that's a good sign, it's not electrical. That means your problem is either fuel or air. Spray a small amount of fuel into the intake whilst someone cranks it (notice I said SMALL) it should start. Then work backwards by pulling fuel line off engine to see if sufficient pressure is there. Then check filter and lastly pump. If they all check good. Check fuel pump relay. Once your done with that come back to me and let me know
