I changed my front driver side caliper. Do I have to bleed both sides.
Hi, My name is Chris. I have a FORD FOCUS 2000 SE. I replaced my front driver side
caliper today. All the brake fluid came out and I know I have to do the bleeding to get rid
of the air.. Do I have to do the bleeding on Front Driver side only or Do I have to do the
same thing on the passenger side as well. Please let me know.
If you replaced the caliper like it should have been done then all you will have to bleed is that side but if you let the systems lines open during replacement then you will have to bleed the entire system. When did you you do a brake fluid system flush? If it has not been done recently then now would be a good time to do it.
Thank you Tennisshoes
