We were shocked to get a notice through our email that our car “sold” yesterday. We have had no contact with any buyer , infact, no one has seen the car. We have no money and still have possession of the car. Why would you put “sold” on a car that hasn’t “sold”. We demand an explanation!

GuruC99CB: I was in contact with a seller and had a test drive set up for next weekend. Imagine my dismay when I also received an email that said the car was sold. I cannot contact the seller, because the ad was removed. However, today when I tried viewing the ad on my web browser on my pc,(I was using my phone previously) the ad has an "Expired" flag next to it. As I remember, I think the ad was 27 days old when I 1st viewed it, so when I got the email on March 1st, at 12:59 pm, it would make sense. But now, if this is true, I have no way of reaching the seller because CG doesn't allow contact by email or SMS text when the ad is not active. I can only HOPE that if the seller did not sell the car, that he notices the ad expired and tries contacting me. I see on the CG site that ads are only good for 30 days, but can be renewed if done before the following 30 days. Good Luck to you in finding an answer.
