2016 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL Stalls while driving and then at idle.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2016 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL that has started
to stall. It happens when I’m slowing down to turn
at a light and when I am coming out to make that
turn it stalls. I can press the gas pedal all the way
down to the floor and it won’t rev or accelerate.
Then when I try to restart it it sometimes will start
up sometimes it won’t but hen it does and I have it
at idle the traction lift will come on and the PS
(power steering) will come on and it will run for
maybe less than a minute then stall out again. My
power steering is hard turning and I’ve checked the
fluid. All good. I recently took it to Nissan and they
said it was the alternator. Mind you I just got the
alternator a week ago and it worked for a week
before stalling out again. Took the alternator off had
it tested at autozone and it was indeed bad. Got a
new alternator and had it tested along with the
battery and starter. All good. Put new one in and
drove about 10 miles and it stalled again!!! Checked
all the fuses. All good. I am so over this!!! I wish I
knew what it was!! This car has now 68000 miles on
it. 65000 when I got it do you wouldn’t think it
would be doing this. I’m absolutely puzzled. I love
the car other than this! Car isn’t making any ticking
knocking or jerking sounds or movements. No
burning smells either. Someone please help and
give me some insight. I’m desperate at this point.

You should buy OEM parts from the dealer on those to save headaches , the first one was probably mitzubishi and now you have auto zoo junk that the dealer will not take as a core , there are better ways to test things and you should find a competent mechanic to do the work , maybe you can trust the dealership , all this is going to cost you some money .
