How hot nissan rogue heated seats should really get?

Asked by Sergey Mar 07, 2019 at 10:14 AM about the 2016 Nissan Rogue SV AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We got Nissan Rogue 2016 about month ago. Both driver and passenger seats
get barely warm on High setting and don't stay warm for long. Took car back to
dealership twice - both times service department told us seats works as
designed. We had 2013 Rogue before and seat heat was fine.

The seats don't get too hot as a safety feature.

I am going through this exact same thing right now, but with a 2019. I put the seats on high heat and you can barely even tell that there's any heat on. My sister and boss both have Nissan Rogues (different years) and neither have this problem. I also have problem with the vehicle's heat itself. It's at the service department today and they just say they test similar to another vehicle.

GuruKQSYB - I've only had mine two and a half months, and until the last few weeks haven't really used the heated seats. Yesterday I left them on my entire 60-minute commute, and two different times for about 15 seconds, they got pretty warm. Not hot, but about how you would want them. So, I'm not buying that they're working like they should when they obviously have the ability to get much hotter, but just don't. I'm also having issues with the heat itself, but again, was told everything is testing to spec. I paid an extra $3,500 - $4,000 to have heated seats and remote start, and could have paid a fraction of that if I'd have had them installed myself, so I'm just frustrated. Of course, all I hear is, "We understand".
