Is 3500.to much?Isa Honda Civic know for having problems?

hows the maintenance records? oil changes, tune ups things like that. also ask if they have had the timing belt replaced. at 147000 miles i would be worried about the timing belt.

It all depends on service records: I'd check when the brakes were last serviced too at that mileage, possibly you might need to do the rotors and pads as well as the timing belt.
