What is 1972 MB 350SL with 58K original miles, American, not Gray Market, worth?

Asked by Jan 10, 2017 at 01:11 PM about the 1972 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 350SL

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm the owner of this car since 1975, bought in Louisville KY, always been
garaged. Currently, as well as always since new, in good running condition.
Both tops in great condition. Leather seats need some attention. Original
working Becker radio.

Check around to see what others are asking for their SL's but I have been shopping them some lately and if it is really clean and all the service is up to date then maybe 10 - 15k. The seat condition might bring that down some.

Without a lot of good photos this is just a guess.

Wholesale is roughly $7,000, so retail 8-$9,000 if that helps
