Car runs, but stop after a short time

Car starts and run for 10 to 15 minutes then stop.  After waiting 30 minutes to an hour it will start, run and do the same again.  What could be the problem

The choke could be closing up on the carb. I would check it out. It should be open when the car is at operating temperature.
