1996 4.3 vortec, coding bad coil pack.

Have changed coil pack,plug wires, plugs,cap,rotor. Then went back to taking
three attempts to start,and light came back on, coding bad coil pack. Runs
great once started

Should of said ,it would start shut off ,start shut off then start and run, and run good,but light came on coding coil pack, changed everything listed above, did great for one day, then started all over again,coding coil pack. Once started it runs great,good fuel mileage, 20 to the gallon.

check for grounds , motor to chassis ground , ignition module ?, don't know if a bad one would throw that code

ignition control module ? codes may be from unrelated things you never know
