how to change stop light swich

at the brake pedal, travel upwards toward the windshield there will be a switch on the far side...a barrel switch who's position can be adjusted there or at it's mount that has some screws to hold it in place if I can remember my suburbans...yes barrel there what pushes on the pedal arm-

hold the farm, in researching this found to be a great big plastic thingy....gimme a minute to research this phenomenon- I don't know what the hell is going on here shows 3 or 4 types...would have to look at what you're trying to replace exactly-
