Shifts hard while driving

Shift solenoids going bad, plugged filter, dirty fluid, TCM failing, transmission getting ready to leave you walking. There are more things it could be but these are the most common.

Check fluid level. Low fluid can cause a lot of shifting anomalies. Certainly, dirty fluid or inhibited flow due to a filter clog can do this. But it might be seasonal. If you're in an area that's really cold, switch to a better fluid, and maybe a synthetic to help with flow at cold temperatures. If not these, I'd suspect that the transmission is just wearing out. Have a transmission shop check it out.
