Fuel pump compatibility

I have a 99 GMC Jimmy my fuel pump went out
trying to find one and I was wondering needing
to know is a 95 Blazer fuel pump compatible
with my 99 Jimmy???

My sources says that it will not fit. '97-99' were different sending units than the '95'. Also note that there are differences between the 2-door and 4-door units. you can find the pump module for around 50 bucks online. I would just buy new rather than installing a used one.
