I bought a new 2014 Honda Accord EXLv6 with navi. My gas mileage is 16mpg. I have 5 000 miles on my car and am very disappointed in its gas mileage. Does anyone else have this problem?

I've brought my car back to the dealer but have been given no answer except
that it's how I drive or I don't do enough highway driving. My car was rated 21-
35 mpg. Help!

Is that city driving only? Stop and go most of the time and a lot of idling? If that is the type of driving you do then a hybrid might be the car for you.

I do a lot of in town driving, but also high speed trips of 100 miles per week. This is not in traffic, no idling, but obviously not a huge amount of long trips. My car is rated 21 mpg city and 35 highway.Shouldn't my gas mileage be a compilation of both? Thanks for your help.
