buy a chevy, but seriously go to the dealer. Request to test drive another to compare the noise to. If they both are the same then that's just how it is. Trucks are noisy, but i'm not there nor have I driven a new 2014 f150 so idk how bad what you are hearing is
I have a 2010 and my brother has a 2012 F-150. They are not as quiet as his wife's Cadillac, but they are not as noisy as a vehicle with defective window/door seals. Drive someone's elses or ask the service repair person to allow you to drive another one to make a comparison.
I bought a new 2016 supercab and the wind noise was so bad that I traded in in with 3000k. I then bought a new 2017 super crew and now the wind noise is just as bad or worse than the 2016. The dealer adjusted the doors on both truck to no avail. I am ready to get ford to buy back this truck so i can look for another model that does not have this anoying wind noise all the time. My name is Ron P

I have a 2016 Crew cab and the wind noise makes Me sick every time I drive it. I'm afraid of going to the dealer. They might screw up the doors or something. I almost think it coming from the rain channel on top of the cab. It is always there but gets worse with cross winds. I have seen pre 15 F-150's and that rain channel has a rubber strip from front to back. Mine only has 2 inches on the rear of the cap. Ford is saving money.
I have a 2017 Ford F-150 King Ranch with wind noise coming from the Passenger Side Tow Mirror. I determined the exact location by taping off (w/ electrical tape) the gaps located around the retracting hinge mechanism; and one by one, removing each piece of tape until the wind noise came back. The attached picture with the tape shows where the wind noise was coming from. Sorry for the picture quality- it was taken at night. Hope it helps.
