I drove through some high water and my air
conditioner isn't working

if it's not Peter recommendation, above, try the a/c relay. secondly, STAY OUT of high water!! you are not helping yourself. That's a good way to crack your block. When you have the right amount of stress and right temp, it will crack on you. It's like a tornado in meteorology, ok. When you have two weather systems coming together, one hot and one cold, it can be pure hell as they try to be introduced. And this is how we foul weather, hail , golf balls, etc.
