What agency do we go to to start a class action suit or get a recall for this?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Roof glass exploding and shattering shards and pieces into car-for no
apparent reason. Nothing hit roof glass to cause this to happen. Some kind of
design flaw or stress facter on frame holding glass? Safety issue

That's for personal injury ambulance chasers. There was no personal injury. Just an unsafe product rip off from Ford that they will not stand behind

Quit grumbling about it and just get it fixed. Class action lawsuit for a broken glass, that's a laugh. Are you going to be the only person in the class? How do you know that nothing hit the glass?

Pay the comprehensive deductible on your insurance and have it taken care of like Bob mentioned. The new glass most probably will last the life of the vehicle. You could call Ford about it in the meantime, let them know there was a problem in case they want to look into it.

I would stop by the local Lincoln dealership to see if Lincoln would help on the cost. Otherwise it is an insurance issue.

common problem. Has been fixed on newer models.

High heat can cause tempered glass to explode. Class action lawsuits primarily benefit the lawyers. All you might get is a coupon for a hundred bucks off on a new Lincoln.
