Why is the drivers side brake locking up?

I have a 2000 dodge Dakota 5.9 4wd I have a
problem with my front drivers side tire locking
up when I brake. New caliper but don’t know
why

it sounds like your caliper and not letting the pressure back off next time it does it get out and crack your bleeder screw and see if that unlocks it
