1988 Chevy Caprice Blinker Problem

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have an 88 Chevrolet Caprice and the blinkers don't work. I turn on the
hazards and all of those lights light up even on the dash. But when i turn on
the turn signals the dash flashers don't turn on, theres no clicking that
happens. So I'm just curious if anyone else has had this problem and if so
what would be the fix? I've already tried the fuse, and changed all the light
bulbs.

You have two flasher units. One for the turn signals and another for the hazard warning flashers. Sounds like the turn signal flasher is bad. Hope that helps! Jim

Do you have power at the fuse? If so, it's going to be the turn signal switch. Hope that helps! Jim
