1992 Dodge Stealth RT Non turbo Automatic

My auto trans is now stuck in seems to be 2nd gear , I have reverse  , when
accelerating it will start in second gear and stay there , will not shift. Very low
miles on entire car 40K  any advice greatly appreciated. I tried to reset the ECM
by disconnecting battery cables but no luck.

Gene answered about a year ago

So either a TCM or shift solenoid problem.Find a good transmission shop so they can do a stand alone test on it, that way they can tell you if it is electronic or something deeper inside the transmission.
