What is the high pitched squeaking noise? Belts?
Here's video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ccCW9Lbbao
What could be causing this and what can I do?
I'd check the bearings on the belt tensioner...go ahead and replace them and get a new belt too~
James, that is not funny and not helpful~
I agree with O13. Use a piece of PVC pipe or vacuum cleaner extension hose and hold one end to your ear and carefully position the other end in and around your pulleys. The noise will increase as you get close to the one that is bad. While doing this if the noise appears to be coming from behind the plastic guards about half way down the middle of the engine on the drivers side it will be your timing belt tensioner. Hope this helps.
Again I agree with O13
I cannot help people with threats hanging over me---it's a delicate situation...am almost not here today---dandyoun thanks for your support...please no more negativity...I get enough of that at home...and by the way how I make out with orson (the spunky spritzer) is not for public knowledge~
