Intermittent radio operation

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

'94 Dakota ExtCab 318-V8 5-SpdMan 4WD: The factory radio works great, but intermittently goes dead after switching ignition off. Then out of nowhere, when ignition is turned on the radio works great again. I have checked all grounds; made sure there's voltage at fuse when ignition is keyed; double chk'd radio connector plugs (on back of radio). Is there a 'relay' hidden somewhere that I'm not finding?

This is most likely the radio itself going bad internally. We saw a lot of unusual radio problems at the Dodge dealership. I'd replace the radio itself. This is most likely the issue.
