Swapping wiring is never an exact science. I am employed as a Ford parts specialist at a Ford dealership. I looked up the part numbers for the engine harness on a 84 and 85 Bronco II and the numbers are different meaning they are not the exact same part. I have no way to tell what the differences are. It may be easy to modify and it may not. My only suggestion is to do some looking around on the Bronco II forums on the web.
