the fuel pump fuse in my95 neon keeps blowing, i have replaced fuel pump and it was running fine and now it is blowing fuses every time i start it

I have replaced the fuel pump 3 times. I have recently found that the fuse
blows when it starts, it will run sometimes for days. and then blow, now it
blows the fuse every time I start it, I can move the car from st to garage, other
times it wont go 2 ft without blowing.

You said you replaced the pump, trace your wires, you have a positive and negative wire touching somewhere.

Are you sure the size fuse you are installing is correct? A low amp fuse could explain your problem.

Then there is a short or the fuel pump is drawing too much power.
