88 nissan pulsar nx headlights flip up but they don't go down

Faulty headlight relay(s) would be my guess. This was a common problem in the 80's with American and Foreign cars with the pop-up headlights...I remember seeing on popped up and the other one unable to pop up. I'd have a mechanic check out the relays, if you can't DIY. Good Luck!

Most correct way to state this would be: Headlight MOTOR relay, I believe :)

There is a button, above the windshield wiper switches, push it, and the lights will go down. It's so you can adjust the headlights without them shining in your face. You're welcome.
