what would make my 1997 dakota 4x4 hop driving down the road

as i drive down the road at any speed my truck will hop. You can see the bed bouncing but no shake in the steering.  i have new tires,drums and several other parts but still not sure why.it seamed to appear after i replaced the drums,so i backed the brakes off and still the same thing
