4.7 to 5.2 swap in a 2001 Dakota

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm swapping the 4.7 in my 2001 Dakota for a 5.2
from a 1999 Ram 1500. Is there anyone who has
done this, just what all is involved, and is there an
oil pan made that will clear the cross member.

Llet me tell y'all a little something about all these posts saying this is an easy swap and you'll only have to go under the dash to plug in main harness ,, don't for one minute believe that. I done everything myself and brother let me tell you it's a job. These guys that say it'll sit right in my ass. That's not gonna happen either so anyone planning this swap just hope for the best and plan for the worse. I just hope the reward at the end of my swap is worth it.
