1993 bmw 7 series 740i

im not hearing a fuel pump prime but ill try the starting fluid and check for spark and compression test to try to get it started thanks for helping me :)

Hi so it starts for a second with starter fluid i bought a new fuel pump but the old one clipped in the fuel tank and the new one i bought has like rubber pieces on it i put it in and it still won't start

Ok I dont here the fuel pump when its in the run position so ill check the pump relay do you know where its located at i checked underneath the hood amd in the back seat where the battery is at and i cant find it

If it is a 1993 BMW 740i Battery is under the back seat passenger side, fuses on the driver side under the hood and brains on the passenger side. Check all the error messages coming up before you start it. Make sure they are all cleared.
