why does it take the crv 6 minutes for the arrow to move to C in the temperature gauge when I start the car? It took less than 3 minutes in my toyota camry 2004

Could it be possible that your thermostat is malfunctioning, stuck in the open position? A longer warm up time will burn more gas and cause more pollution. I would advise checking that first.
