when pulling a trailer 4700 pounds how hot should the transmission get

2012 1500 ext cab 5.3 ltr 6 speed trans i think i can see a small trans cooler.
i pulled trailer about 10 miles temp got to 218 is this to hot.
i live in Denver co i want to camp in mountains

On your shifter there is a button for towing press that when towing and always take out of overdrive when going uphill.
