My Dodge Grand Caravan 2012 has a unique problem in that my check engine light comes on and then I can't get it to shift into 6th gear. Had it checked and it came back engine oil problem this has been since Chrysler dealer switched from regular oil to semi synthetic. We have switched back but the light has once again popped on

Check oil pressure with a gauge while cold and after it has reached running temperature and if pressure is above 30psi, replace oil pressure sensor. If low pressure, you engine wear problems
