My frist time buying car, found car for
right price, got it finance and was so
happg everything went through..while
driving home tranmition blew..what
do i do now? Dealer offer another car
but wasnt what i wanted,i didnt have a
car for work so car dealer offer a car
while the acura being fix.but so far
seem like every car there had some
kind of mechanic problem..is there
anyway to cancell finance or buy
Sounds like a cheesy and sleazy "Buy Here, Pay Here" place along the side of the road somewhere possibly in a so so or flat out bad neighborhood? Yeah, just try to cancel the deal and talk to a Lemon Lawyer about it.
Unless you bought some kind of used car warranty or it's covered by a 30 day warranty from the dealer you're probably stuck with it. If the dealer is offering to fix it I'd take their offer. Very sorry about this! HTH. -Jim
WOW, looks like you a stuck with that car, hope the dealer does the right thing....
James, no lemon law on a used car. Probably an as-is sale. Queenbp, read JS's post. Next time look around for a better dealer/car and have it inspected by your own mechanic before purchase, that way you won't get into these situations. Good Luck.
In some states there is a "cooling off period". Act fast to find out if it applies in your state. Here in Kansas I am pretty sure it is 3 days. Your state may or may not have this.
