Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Got In it this morning to leave and it would not do anything. Checked the battery it was 12.7 volts then went back in and red dot was flashing for security system immobilizer i only have regular keys ever since i have owned this truck. How could it be the wrong key? I tried unhooking battery and draning system and same thing. Can anyone please help? I don't want to tow to local dealer it is completely dead no lights anywhere. Also tried swapping out computer and still same issue. Thanks

Unfortunately with the security system involved you need a locksmith or your local Dodge Dealer. Sorry! Jim

The bad part is you disconnected the battery so you put the security system in full lock down, so now you need a smart locksmith or the dealership to do a system reset.
