sounds like the ussal voltage issues. Try going over all your headlights and make sure you dun have any busted and crossed bulbs and check your switchs for looseness as it may indicate a broken switch. try a reboot of your cars system by disconnecting your cars battery for 15-30 minutes(only do if you have your stereo codes avaialable) If you find none of the above try changing hte battery with a new one from the vw dealer they take your old one and give you a brand spaning never been rebuilt battery and the right one for your car for a decent price and fully charged. i only payed 129$ canadian for a new battery for my audi.

Possible cause: When you open the door of your jetta, one sensor (don't know which) send a sign to the fuel pump and send fuel to the engine (fill up the lines if empty), they way when you turn the switch ON the car start immediately. That sensor is staying ON all the time, maybe thats why your battery is getting drained.
