brake sticking

Asked by MHG50 Apr 12, 2013 at 07:43 PM about the 2007 Suzuki XL-7 Base AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced a sticking brake caliper on the right front.  But the new caliper is also sticking so what do you think could be causing the new one to start sticking as soon as I put it on?

I have heard that sometimes the rubber brake hose can collapse inside and keep the brake on.

the slides were not cleaned and lubricated with lithium grease, with a small brush as they should have been~
