Jeep Grand Cherokee `06
Does my Jeep Grand Cherokee `06 Limited 4WD
draw the speed that it displays on the
speedometer from the transmission or the wheels?
It's an electronic signal from the transmission.
There is sped sensor on the passenger side of the transmission if its the 545rfe. There is also a governor pressure sensor too. The speed sensor in the rear one attache by an 8mm bolt. It's tucked up in there.
Over sized tires will cause the speed reading to be low.
The ABS system will draw the speed data from wheel speed sensors.
