The car won't start, is this a starter issue?

Asked by Guru644HP Mar 09, 2020 at 10:43 AM about the 2004 Honda Pilot EX-L AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 04 Honda Pilot with a two month old battery. Went to start and the
ignition won't turn.

The dash lights come on and the electronics seem to be functioning
normally. When you turn the key, there is no sound or movement. After
removing the key, there is a quick, repetitive clicking sound underneath the
steering wheel. Have not had a chance to jump it yet, but I fear its a larger
problem than the battery.

Does anyone know if this may be a starter problem? Or is there is something
else I can try?

Have you been able to figure out what it is? I have and 06 Pilot that just started doing this same thing this morning. Mine does start at the 4th try though.
