Factory radio in 2010 VW SportWagon died with CDs inside

Factory radio in 2010 VW SportWagon died and I have a bunch of CDs in it that
I need to take out. Any idea how to extract CDs from this dead radio? Thanks!

Only way I know how, is to remove the player from the dash and take it apart and purchase another used one, or go with an aftermarket from crutch field.
