Trans fluid service

Wife has 2011 galant was wondering I'd
anyone knows when and if the trans
fluid is supposed to be changed... if so
is there a filter I was told on phone that
there was not a filter and they take out
old put in new basically at same time or
some crap... I'm old school I have
always changed oil and trans fluid with
new filters... nowadays some dont do
either or they do one not the other..
crazy stuff now !!

I would change it every 30,000 miles. More often if the fluid turns brown.
