My f150 hesitates or studders at no certain speed the rpm gauge doesn't move up or down and it doesn't happen all the time,I just replaced the fuel filter but I am up for suggestions

If you have close to 100k tune it up. Without having seen the vehicle or rode in it. I would venture to say you have a misfire. A coil an plug will fix that but if the miles are up there a tune up is the most cost effective
