I just changed my fuel pump and filter in my 89 f150 straight 6 five speed and it started right up but after driving half the day it died so hoping I just ran out of gas I put some in and it popped

and how to solve the problem

If you ran out of gasoline you could have burnt up the new pump. Make sure you have gasoline in it then check the pressure.
