overheating

Sumtimes it runs fine an sumtimes it overheats i
changed the thermostlat to a failsafe and cleand out the
purge line and all the lines idk wat is going on how
does it work fine for weeks an then jus overheat plzzz
help

I never had any luck with those fail safe thermostats. Always had to change them out to just a good old (new) gates thermostat.

    My 2000 deville base is overheating. When it is overheating I turn the heater on full blast. The air coming from the vents is cold, almost like I have the ac on. What could cause this?
